The service and your account
Amisko is a web service built on an experimental social engine. It lets you create profiles, publish content and connect people, places and events.
Protect access to your account and only provide information you are authorised to use. Manage a band, company or association profile only if you are authorised to represent it. Give other managers access appropriate to their role.
Your content and permissions
Rights to content remain with their rightful holders. Only publish content you have the right to have stored, technically processed and displayed in Amisko according to your chosen visibility. This permission is for providing the service.
Respect other people’s privacy and rights when sharing images, contacts, coordinates or information about them. The publisher is responsible for the accuracy of event information they publish.
Rules for using the service
Use the service in accordance with the law and other people’s rights.
- Do not publish illegal content or content that infringes copyright or privacy.
- Do not impersonate another person or organisation without authorisation.
- Do not use the service for spam, fraud, threats or harassment.
- Do not bypass permissions or interfere with the security or availability of the service.
Reporting and handling content
A channel for reporting content will be added to the final document. Reports should include an exact link to the content, the reason for the report and information needed to assess it and respond.
The review process, grounds for restrictions, notifications to affected users and ways to challenge decisions will be added to the final document to reflect the service’s actual moderation practices.
An experimental engine
The engine is under active development. Features, appearance and availability may change, and errors or interruptions may occur. Keep your own copies of important images and other content.
The experimental nature of the service does not limit your statutory rights or exclude the operator’s legal obligations.
Leaving the service and questions
You can stop using the service and manage your account and profiles through available settings. An additional contact channel for deletion requests or shared profile issues will be added to the final document.
Personal data and cookies are described in separate documents linked in the footer. This draft does not set terms for paid services or for licensing the engine for independent operation.
