A little off-centre. On purpose.

Oversized lettering, tilted shapes and room to read. A closer look at Amisko's playful visual character.

Character at first glance

Amisko's homepage uses oversized lettering, colour and motion. The project's name takes the lead, with connected points suggesting a social network engine. That playful expression accompanies the technical content and the blog articles.

Some elements sit at a slight angle. Headings and stickers gain a looser, almost poster-like character. The layout and illustrations were created for Amisko and appear throughout its public pages.

A quieter rhythm for reading

Each article opens with a large moving illustration. The dog accompanies the story of the name, a changing infinity loop introduces the technology choices, and a light bulb opens the design article. The heading and body text follow below, with a comfortable width and generous paragraph spacing.

Articles have a table of contents linking to each section. On smaller screens, elements stack vertically and the text stays readable. The playful look fits around everyday use of the site.

Light and dark

Cool colours and yellow accents connect the public pages. The homepage opens with one of three scenes: connected points, the dog on blue, or expanding lines around an infinity loop — an artistic interpretation of cosmic inflation. Each also has a dark version. Amisko remains a simple text wordmark; the dog recalls the personal story behind the project.

The theme can be changed in the top menu, and the choice stays with you as you move between pages. Animations on the homepage and in articles can be paused, and the interface also respects the system's reduced-motion setting.
